The Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout is hosting their annual Lobsterfest and dance on Sept. 28 at the Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club. The event, which has been running for 15 years now, is one of Sioux Lookout’s largest dinner/dances.
The doors will be open, and cocktails will be available, at 6 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m.
Dancing starts around 9 p.m.
The event will also feature silent and penny auctions, a 50/50 draw, and a draw for giant lobsters.
For those who can’t or don’t want to eat lobster, there is an alternative option for ribs, which needs to be identified when tickets are purchased.
The Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout shared that there are approximately 300 tickets available, but tickets are selling quickly.
Tickets are $60 each and they are available at Fresh Market Foods at the Service Counter, with the age of majority required.
The Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout thanked community members, as well as businesses and organizations, for the continued support for the annual event.
“This is great community event, lots of fun. The Rotary Club couldn’t do it without the support of businesses and organizations in the area and all the folks who come out to the event. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for local and international projects,” said Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout member Susan Barclay.
