Sacred Heart School Valedictory Address
Khloe Carter - Valedictorian
I want to start by saying thank you to all the people who have supported me over the years, my parents, my friends and teachers. Thank you for giving me the honour of being the class valedictorian for 2022!
Without the guidance and support I wouldn’t be where I am today. They have all helped me learn to grow as a person throughout my journey here at Sacred Heart. They have all either been by my side or given me words of advice. With all of you by my side you have helped inspire my learning journey
Over the years here at Sacred Heart, I have made so many memories. As classmates we have gotten to grow up together and have had different experiences with everyone. I thank you all for that.
Thank you to my family members who helped me with my homework even though we have our different ways of doing it, we eventually got it done. Thank you to my friends…. I can’t wait to make even more amazing memories with you all. We each all have some great memories in this school like in the winter when we all tried to push each other down and we would all slip on the ice or playing football on the court.
I don’t think Graduation could have come any sooner! We are all ready for this next adventure. It feels like we just entered our Grade 8 class a couple days ago. And to be honest I was ready to graduate on the first day of school! Not because I don’t like it but because I am ready for a new adventure. A new beginning where we will get to become us. We will begin to find our way in this world by figuring out more of our own likes and dislikes and figure out who we want to become…
Since now we are all moving into high school, we will all make new memories and meet many new people. My advice to you is try new things and get to know others.
These memories will stick with us forever. Our journey doesn’t end here. So, let’s make the most of it. Thank you.
