Second Sandy Beach opens

Second Sandy Beach opened for public use on June 12 following the relaxation of certain Provincial Orders, giving people an opportunity to cool off in the waters of Pelican Lake this summer.
The Municipality of Sioux Lookout informed that Farlinger Park (the town beach) will not be opening this summer as the waterfront development project moves forward.
