Sioux-Hudson Employment Services closing its doors

After 42 years of serving Sioux Lookout, Hudson, Lac Seul and the surrounding local area, Sioux-Hudson Employment Services shared in a media release last week that “with great sadness” it will be closing its doors. 
“We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has been involved in and with our organization over the years; employees, Board Members and especially the people of our community that we have served,” the media release states.
Sioux-Hudson Employment Services advised that “from now until March 31, 2024, employers and job seekers who are looking for assistance can reach out to Northwest Employment Works at 807-223-4006 or by email [email protected].”, adding, “More information will be shared soon regarding available services after March 31, 2024.”
