Sioux Lookout Bombers looking for billet families

The Sioux Lookout Bombers are looking for billet families for the upcoming season.
“We’ve identified a few billets in the community, people who have stepped forward, but right now we’re looking to fill the last few spots in our billeting to fill out our compliment,” shared Bombers Director of Business Operations, Joe Cassidy.
“We’re sitting around 10. We’re hoping to get up to 18 before we kick off main camp (at the beginning of September) and then after that we’d be looking to move our compliment of billet folks up to 25,” he said.
“What we’re looking for in a billet family is a well established family that has an extra furnished room in their house that they can accommodate a young adult. They have the ability to provide food and meals. The Bombers will provide some compensation monthly for billet families and also provide season ticket and some other incentives,” Cassidy explained.
“Nicole Carnochan and Ashley Cassidy are our billet coordinators, so right now we have an email set up for them, it’s [email protected]. So, if people are interested, they can send that email and they’ll get a billeting package and we can start having some discussions,” he said.
Anyone looking for more information can email [email protected] or contact Cassidy at [email protected].
