Sioux Lookout Chamber of Commerce presenting Pop-Up Markets

The Sioux Lookout Chamber of Commerce is offering homebased businesses another opportunity to bring their products and services to the community and become more widely known in town, while at the same time, providing residents and visitors to town with more shopping opportunities.
Beginning this week, and running throughout the year, Pop-Up Markets will be taking place at the Travel Information Centre.
“With COVID, we thought, let’s do it now because there’s a lot of people that work from home that probably can’t have people come to their home,” said Chamber Treasurer Christine Hoey, who explained the idea was inspired by a pop-up donut shop she encountered on a trip out of town about a year and a half ago.
COVID-19 physical distancing measures and provincial gathering limits will be observed at all Pop-Up Markets, which will feature a single vendor at each market during the pandemic.
Vendors interested in taking part can contact the chamber office at 737-1937 or email [email protected].
