Sioux Lookout remembers

Sioux Lookout residents packed the Edwin Switzer, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 78, on Nov. 11 for this year’s Remembrance Day ceremony.
Led by David Williams, a past president of Branch 78, the service included the playing of the Last Post, two minutes of silence, followed by the playing of Reveille, a reading of In Flanders Fields by Beaver and Cub Scouts, laying of wreaths, and a slideshow featuring Sioux Lookout’s veterans. A wreath was also laid at the cenotaph at the town beach prior to the service.
