Fireworks, which had been postponed on Canada Day, were also held during the Music Festival.
Tommy Kuzemczak is the coordinator of the Sioux Mountain Music Festival as well as the coordinator of the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre’s Sioux Lookout Multi-Cultural Youth Music Program, of which several of this year’s performers are part of.
He shared, “The Sioux Mountain Music Festival was really exciting this year! With the fireworks on Festival Day, it was the best Festival yet.”
Kuzemczak commented, “All of the Youth Centre performers did excellent performances. The local musicians and the out of town musicians did very well too. It was a beautiful day!”
He added, “A Big Thank You to all of the volunteers!”
