SLMHA U13 Tournament

Six teams competed over the weekend in the Sioux Lookout Minor Hockey Association’s (SLMHA) U13 Tournament, which ran from Nov. 17 – 19 at the Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena.
Taking part in the tournament were the Sioux Wolverines, the Sioux Storm, the Dryden Ice Breakers, the Dryden Jets, the Ear Falls Eagles, and the Copperfin Royals from Kenora.
The Sioux Wolverines finished the tournament in third place, defeating the Dryden Ice Breakers 5-2 in Sunday’s finals.
In the other final match, the Copperfin Royals took first place in the tournament, edging the Sioux Storm 4-3 in a shootout.
