SLMHC welcomes first baby of 2023 

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) has welcomed its first newborn of 2023.
Kasha Kakekagumick and Alex Southwind of Frenchman’s Head (Lac Seul First Nation) welcomed the arrival of their son Kreeo Southwind-Kakekagumick on Jan. 5 at 2:52 p.m. 
Kreeo weighs 2.89 kilograms (six pounds, six ounces) and is 49 centimetres long (19.3 inches).
