Spring themed window display grows with the season

Sioux Area Seniors Activity Centre member Charron Sippola has updated the spring themed display on the centre’s windows from last month, mirroring the changing phase of spring. 

Sippola said, “It’s basically a spring thing. But, I have a little poem that says, June is here, the time has come, no more excuses, get out have fun. All the flowers have an activity like biking, running, walking, fishing, hiking, whatever to get people motivated. Because I mean June is the kind of month that doesn’t have any holidays. So, we just carried the spring theme with it.”

She added, “Now there is a little bit more room to move around and enjoy the weather of where we live. We gotta enjoy what we got.” She looks forward to Canada Day being the theme for next month’s display.
