Successful Stuff A Cruiser event in Pickle Lake
Pickle Lake OPP member Constable Jason Paquette (kneeling) accepts a donation from Quinn Pickett for the Annual Stuff A Cruiser event in Pickle Lake, while Sioux Lookout auxiliary member Darren Zatorsky looks on.
The event, organized by Paquette, took place on Dec. 11 in the Northern Store parking lot.
Provincial police shared on the Ontario Provincial Police – North West Region Facebook page, “Special thanks to both members for being such great ambassadors for the OPP and to the citizens of Pickle Lake who so generously gave to support those in need! Well done!”
Police further shared with The Bulletin, “The event went extremely well. The community was successful in filling the cruiser with toys and non-perishable food items, as well as raising over $250 that will be used to purchase additional presents for local families in Pickle Lake and Mishkeegogamang First Nation.”
