Supporting local health care

Sioux Lookout Home Hardware Co-Owners Jamie and Jeanette Wisnoski presented Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) Foundation representatives with a $5000 donation on Dec. 30.
Jamie Wisnoski said of the donation, made on behalf of the store and his family, “This year the health centre foundation hasn’t been able to do a lot of fundraising events like they’ve done in the past, so we decided to put forth the same money we put to some of their fundraising events just as a straight donation to help them out… we just wanted to help where we could.”
Foundation Treasurer Rita Demetzer commented of the donation, “We’re extremely happy that Home Hardware has made a donation to us. They have been big supporters of the Foundation, and as a Jamie said, due to COVID and other things our donations are down this year and so to have this wonderful donation from Home Hardware and the Wisnoski family is truly wonderful.”
