Supporting MRI campaign
The Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout presented the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) Foundation with a cheque for $20,000 on July 18 to support the Foundation’s MRI campaign.
Andreas Kottschoth, President of the Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout, stated of the support, “Rotary is all about giving back to the community and obviously the MRI project is a perfect example of giving back to the community to make the community better, so we are more than happy to donate $20,000 to the cause.”
Melissa Slade, SLMHC Foundation Donor Relations/Operations Coordinator shared, “On behalf of the SLMHC Foundation, I would like to express sincere gratitude to the Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout for their generosity and commitment to support our MRI campaign through this pledge. Their acknowledgment of the immediate and long term importance, that having this diagnostic service locally will offer residents throughout the entire region, is much appreciated.”
