Treaty Days in Lac Seul First Nation
Lac Seul First Nation hosted two days of Treaty Day celebrations in Kejick Bay July 25 and 26.
Lorraine Kejick, Event’s Coordinator for Lac Seul First Nation, said events were well attended.
“I have been hearing very good comments. I think it’s going well,” she said, adding, “I just wanted to make sure every age group had something to do.”
“I just want to thank everyone for coming and participating or just visiting,” she said.
Treaty Days included animal balloon making, bouncy castles, a magic workshop, homemade boat races, a dock rumble, pick a ball, nail hitting, a tug of war, a fish fry, Native Pool Boy comedy show, an AC/DC tribute band, and a drone show.
