Warriors find badminton success
Sioux North High School (SNHS) Warrior athletes Marek McKay and Presley Brohm are heading to OFSAA, the provincial championship. The duo went 4-1 and won silver in senior mixed doubles to qualify for OFSAA at the NWOSSA championships in Thunder Bay on April 26. OFSAA will be held at Trinity College in Port Hope May 11-13.
Alex Agustin and King Talingdan were 1-4 at NWOSSA in senior boys doubles and Tyson Vincent and Ryder Boissnneault were 3-2 in junior boys doubles and tied for second.
SNHS badminton players qualified for NWOSSA through the NORWOSSA badminton championships in Dryden on April 19
SNHS won the senior team norwossa championships with 33 total points beating out Fort Frances with 30 points.
