Warriors, Muskies clash

The Sioux North High School Warriors took on the Fort Frances High School Muskies in girls’ volleyball and boys’ basketball battles on Feb. 5.
The senior girl’s Warriors forced a deciding third set against the Muskies, but the Muskies edged the Warriors two sets to one. The junior girl’s game also saw a third-and-final set, with the Warriors beating the Muskies two sets to one.
In boys’ basketball, the senior matchup was a back-and-forth thriller that saw the Muskies hold on to win 56-45. The junior Warriors kept battling until the final whistle, falling 77-33 against the Muskies.
