A tradition of caring is continuing in Sioux Lookout this month with the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) Foundation’s 25th Tree of Hearts Campaign.
Through the campaign, people are invited to illuminate a light in memory or in honour of someone special for $10 each.
Proceeds will go to SLMHC Foundation in support of the MRI Campaign.
Lights are on sale now and will continue to be sold throughout the month of February.
Lights will be lit on February 14. Trees will be located at Centennial Park, William A. “Bill” George Extended Care, and the courtyard area at SLMHC. Trees are being sponsored by the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and SLMHC.
“Tickets are available in-person at the Foundation Office, at The Hub Collective, the Red Brick Café, Cheers! and Fresh Market Foods – I will be there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays,” shared Melissa Slade, Donor Relations/Operations Coordinator, SLMHC Foundation.
Lights can also be purchased online through the Foundation’s website: https://foundation.slmhc.on.ca/.
Lights on the Trees of Hearts will stay illuminated for the last two weeks of February.
