The 2025 Municipal Budget will be the topic of discussion at a Special Council Meeting on Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal Office.
The meeting will include a presentation by Municipal Treasurer Carly Collins.
“The public will have an opportunity to send questions/make comments following the first budget meeting presentation – such comments and questions can be emailed to [email protected],”
Brian P. MacKinnon, Chief Administrative Officer & Municipal Clerk shared.
MacKinnon said the largest challenges the Municipality is facing in this year’s budget are related to Provincially Legislated Agencies and Services (costs the Municipality does not have control over).
“We are working diligently to ensure we are providing Council with a budget that meets the needs of the community, while balancing fiscal restraint,” MacKinnon added.
