Pickle Lake wants gold mine benefits
Pickle Lake Township wants to stake its own claim when a gold mine is constructed about 160 kilometres north of the town. That is, the local government wants the economic benefits from the mine to get to Pickle Lake residents.
Local residents had the opportunity to pose questions to five of the six Federal candidates running to becoming Kenora -- Kiiwetinoong MP during an All Candidates Forum held in the Lower Legion Hall on April 14.,,,
