Sioux Lookout OPP attend call for medical assistance at local restaurant

Few details are being released regarding a police investigation at a local restaurant on April 17.
Ontario Provincial Police - North West Region shared on its Facebook page that day that Sioux Lookout OPP were, “investigating an incident that took place at the local Tim Hortons this morning.”
Ontario Provincial Police advised that there was no threat to public safety identified, but that there would be an increased officer presence in the area while the investigation is completed.
Ontario Provincial Police - North West Region later shared the following update, “Officers have cleared from the area and determined this incident as being non-criminal in nature. The public’s patience as officers conducted their investigation is greatly appreciated.”
Sioux Lookout OPP shared with The Bulletin that, “officers attended a call for medical assistance and the police investigation is complete, the incident found to be non-criminal in nature.”
Further inquiry resulted in the following response, “Unfortunately we can’t share any of this information as it is medical.”
